Daylesford is a picturesque spa town set amongst the scenic hills, lakes and forests at the foothills of the Great Dividing Range in the Macedon Ranges, approximately 90 minutes drive from Melbourne.
Gullyview Cottage is located within an easy walk or 2 minute drive to the historic village of Daylesford, brimming with excellent restaurants and cafes, day spas, art galleries and shops. It is also just a 5 minute drive to the famous Heburn mineral springs. Or use it as your base to explore the beautiful Macedon Ranges.

One of Australia’s most famous mineral spa towns, Daylesford is a fabulous year round destination easily accessible by car or by train from Melbourne. The town’s numerous mineral spas and wellness retreats, excellent restaurants, cafes and galleries are popular alongside nearby local wineries and well preserved historic villages throughout the Macedon Ranges region. There are many local events and festivals all year, as well as some great weekend markets.

The area is also known for its many lovely walks and hiking tracks. Lake Daylesford in just a few minutes’ walk south of the town centre, as is Wombat Hill Botanical Garden which offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Jubilee Lake, located near Hepburn Springs, is a scenic spot ideal for fishing, boating and swimming.
